Installing EC3
EC3 will self-install when downloaded and run on your PC. Please note that EC3 requires a Pentium (or equivalent) PC running Windows 95*, 98, NT (4+) or 2000.
* Note that Burn will not work with early versions of Win 95 (A) due to a bug in Win 95 limiting access to hard disk drives larger than 2GB.
When installing under Windows NT or 2000 administrator privileges may be required for correct installation.
Once installed EC3 has a single icon on your desktop to allow simple drag and drop encryption.
EC3 has a full 'uninstall' program that allows easy and complete removal of all EC3 components, file associations and registry entries.
